Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

International Constitutional Law (ICL) as a legal discipline combines constitutional law, public international law, European law and legal theory. The course will focus on Environmental Law within a multilevel constitutional reality. The relevant questions and problems will be examplified and disussed through selected case studies.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

The course serves as preparatory course for the NICLAS - Summer School 2010 (univie.ac.at/niclas). However, participation in the preparatory course is open to other interested students. At an academic level students shall learn to understand constitutions in their historic but in particular in their contemporary context and learn to question constitutional concepts instead of accepting them as sacrosanct.

Prüfungsstoff
