2) meet the attendance requirements.No dictionaries or other reference materials are allowed in the exam.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
PS 60.5-70; Grade 4
PS 70.5-80; Grade 3
PS 80.5-90; Grade 2
PS 90.5-100; Grade 1In order to pass the course, students must
1) reach an overall percentage score (PS) of more than 60% and
2) meet the attendance requirements.No dictionaries or other reference materials are allowed in the exam.According to university regulation, this course is "prüfungsimmanent", which means that in principle students must attend every class. Exceptionally, they may miss a maximum of two sessions. If they miss more than two sessions without good cause, they automatically fail.Failure to attend the first session without prior notification will result in losing the place in the course.This course will be taught in a digital format through Moodle. This means your physical presence is required only on specific dates, i.e. the dates of the mid-semester test and the final test. You are expected to actively participate online by completing weekly sessions through Moodle. Completing these weekly sessions is mandatory and if you fail to actively participate (e.g. upload assignments) for more than two sessions this will result in a fail.Sessions will be posted weekly on Moodle (you will receive an email notification whenever a new session goes online.) You are expected to complete weekly homework and online tasks (for instance, contribute to class discussions, upload specific assignments, etc). The course will be taught in a digital format, i.e. via Moodle, but the mid-term test and the final test will take place at the faculty.Online sessions will be specifically designed for self-study and will include audio-visual content, reading and listening comprehension exercises based on current affairs, group work, presentations, online discussions, vocabulary development and reinforcement of grammatical structures, case studies and online quizzes.
