You will receive 5-6 times Pinyin dictations(initials, finals, single characters and words) during the semester and 4 of them will be scored (each time 10% of the total score). Your pronunciation will be evaluated during the course through individual-corrections. Along with the attendance rate of 10%(which is also your homework assignment rate), 60% of the total score will base on these evaluations. 40% from the final test.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
There is a strict regulation about your attendance rate/homework-assignment. Absence more than 3 times means your final score will be graded automatically as 5.(If you do not hand in your homework for three times, your final score will be graded as 5.)
Prüfungsstoff
The final test is an oral test. You will recieve a paper with initials, finals, single characters, words and simple sentences. You need to read them through, trying to avoid any kind of mistakes.

During the course, you will listen and imitate the pronunciation of the learning material related to the "new words" and "dialogues" in the book "Pratical Chinese". Individual corrections of the pronunciation will be done each time during the course. Games for pronunciation will be integrated.On Moodle-Platform you will find the learning materials one week before the course starts. The learning materials contain the text (Lesson 1-Lesson 10), new words, exercise for pronunciation and audio data.This semester, we applied hybrid-learning method, which means you will sit in the classroom and learn the course every two weeks. We offer you online BBB or Jitsi room, when you are at home, you may attend the course by using this platform and join the class.
we switched the On-site course to Online course from 3rd November 2020.Regarding the learning of Speaking Lab, here are what we are going to do next:1. From next week on, you will see all learning materials incl. audio data for key points of the learning materials on Moodle platform.2. You will be divided in small groups of 7-8 person and get individual pronunciation correction every week.For example: on 12th November, Group 1 will get the pronunciation corrected and have to finish an extra homework. Other students do not need to take the online course, just to download the files on Moodle and do the homework.On 19th Novenmber, Group 2 will get the pronunciation corrected and have to finish an extra homework.The individual pronunciation correction will be done in the BBB room every week from 9:45-11:15.Please pay attention to check at least on Wednesday which group you are in.3. You will recieve an audio for dictation every week, please download it and write down your answer and upload to Moodle.4. If you have any questions, please put it in the discussion forum, so that I or other students will answer your questions.(Please do not send me the Email, because your question could be a common question for all other students and the discussion on that question could be a valuble learning process for all of you.)
