The first session (online live) will take place on October 12 (8am) as a course intro and to discuss administrative issues.
Further live sessions are scheduled for November 16 and December 7, both in the form of a question time.
Note that all course contents will be delivered in an electronic fashion via Moodle, as slide sets for self study and screen-casts for worked examples.
The first exam for the current semester is scheduled for the 14th of December (at course time).

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

The goal of this course is to provide an introduction into selected topics from production, logistics and supply chain management. These include
- fundamentals of supply chain management
- demand forecasting
- material requirements planning
- inventory management
- shop floor scheduling
- packing and loading

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

The grading will be based on a single exam, conducted as an online multiple-choice quiz on Moodle until further notice. A total of 100% can be obtained in this exam.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Prüfungsstoff

The exam will cover the course material (slides + associated videos) made available via the e-learning platform Moodle.
