Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
The course has three components: (i) regular attendance, (ii) commenting on the thesis
presentation of all other students during the semester, (iii) presentation of own thesis. You can present only if you have completed about 60 percent of your total thesis (needs to be confirmed by your instructor). Students are strongly encouraged to present their thesis in the same semester they attend this course.
Attendance means to be active. The minimum requirement is to be present regularly and to comment on your fellow students’ presentations. You are requested to attend each class
meeting. Should you miss more than two sessions without an official excuse or fail to submit your written comments on more than four presentations, you will fail. There will be a “pass” or “fail” decision. This will be based on both the in-class presentation and the written comments submitted on other students’ presentations.
