Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
In this class, students will further study topics presented in the lecture by working out problems and presenting the solutions in class. Additionally, students will get the opportunity to work on a network security-related project of their choice. This project should have a practical aspect and result in a software-based deliverable (e.g., prototype implementation or data analysis scripts). Finally, students will present their projects to the class and write a written report. Possible topics may include (but are not limited to) cloud security, security data analysis, firewalls, software-defined networking, and intrusion detection. Students are expected to have a solid understanding of networking principles and knowledge about the most common network protocols. Having completed both VO and UE 'Network Technologies' is highly recommended.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
