The focus of teaching has to shift from teacher-centered to learner-centerd teaching in which the individual learner is provided with the possibility to participate actively in his/her learning process in- and outside school and develop his/her own way of acquiring new competencies.This course is aimed at introducing methods of differentiation, individualization and personalization within the ELT classroom.
Participants will
• be able to identify different learners needs,
• get to know and be able to design different tasks for individual learners.Objectives:
• Discovering one’s approach to teaching and learning
• Defining Differentiation - Individualization - Personalization
• Analyzing ELT activities according to teaching aims and learner needs
• Adapting and designing activities and tasks for different purposes, levels and learning styles
