It constitutes a regular course ("AR") and combines aspects of language, literature, and culture. Our main objective will be to see as many plays and theatres as is possible during our visit.
Prüfungsstoff
Inter-active (oral presentations, class-room discussion, short introductory lectures, field work). There will be seminar sessions on Friday afternoons (2-5 p.m., on March 14, April 4, May 9) to prepare for this field trip. Participants will be asked to give short presentations on selected topics and are expected to produce 'text' and/or multi-media material for final documentation.

There are also plans for a day-trip to Stratford-upon-Avon and a visit to the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company's home base. In addition there will be opportunities to inspect the major sights of London which hold a special appeal to students of British culture (e.g. British Museum, British Library, Bloomsbury, Greenwich, V&A, Brick Lane).
