- Peer teaching + peer teaching related tasks in portfolio 35%
- School book tasks (CLT, vocabulary, listening) 30%
- Journal task (group work) 5%
- Concluding reflection 10%
- Reading, online assignments, glossary, discussions (f2f, online) etc. 10%
- Language issues/not complying with formal aspects -20%
- Peer teaching + peer teaching related tasks in portfolio 35%

Requirements ("zwingend vorgeschriebene Leistungen"): You are expected to 1. observe an experienced teacher in a self-organised visit to a school/institution of your choice; 2. teach your peers in a short sequence in our course (together with a colleague); 3. hand in a course portfolio.
Prüfungsstoff
Continuous assessment; details will be given in class and on moodle.

The objectives of this course are to prepare students for the "Schulpraktikum" by focusing on the diverse roles and tasks of the EFL teacher, the basic concepts of CLT, lesson planning, classroom management and practical teaching techniques, as well as basic observation techniques.Core Content- Teacher's roles
