• How can I implement literature and film in tests (Schularbeiten), oral Matura exams and grading?
• How can use literature and film to not only develop students’ language skills but also contribute to their personal development into open-minded, critical and responsible people interested in the world, culture, history and politics?
• How can I use literature (=novels, short stories, poems, drama,…) to turn my classes into rewarding and fun sessions?
• How can I do creative writing and biographical writing?
• How can I perform a play (or parts of it) with my class?
• How can I make my students enjoy writing poems?
• What texts can I read (and afterwards discuss) with my students (ranging from A1 to C1 level)? (-> lots of material will be provided to look at!)
• How can we move away from the idea that watching movies is only passive and simply entertaining?
• How can I teach without only relying on the course book and how can I easily develop my own materials that interest me and are more up-to-date?
...Class will be very practice-oriented.Methods: group interaction, discussions, lecturer input, student presentations, observations, teaching practice in a school!ON-SITE (Präsenz) teaching but be prepared to switch to online mode in case the CoViD situation changes for the worse!
