As a first step, students will obtain a comprehensive picture of the current state of the art of learning styles research. Different models and theories will be discussed leading to a personal evaluation of various approaches.
In a next step, a self-critical analysis of one's own teaching and learning style will be necessary as a basis for lesson planning.
Finally, students will be introduced to practical tools which will be further explored within activities in this course.
In addition, students will leave this seminar with a collection of "Learning how to study" teaching material (Unverbindliche Übung "Lernen lernen").The seminar will be conducted as an e-learning course.
