Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Die Vorlesung schließt thematisch unmittelbar an die Blockvorlesung 'Einführung in das mathematische Arbeiten' von Kollegen Michael Kunzinger an (siehe auch http://www.mat.univie.ac.at/~ws0506/). Aufbauend darauf werden wir die Differential- und Integralrechnung von Funktionen einer reellen Variablen behandeln, wie sie sowohl als Grundlage für das Mathematikstudium als auch in Anwendungen - insbesondere in Physik, Technik und Wirtschaft - von Bedeutung ist. Die geplanten Kapitel sind

I. Folgen, Reihen und Teilmengen reeller Zahlen
II. Funktionen und Stetigkeit
III. Differentiation
IV. Integration
V. Funktionenfolgen und -reihen.
