Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Diese Lehrveranstaltung bietet eine Einführung in die elementare Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie und Statistik. Der erste Teil befasst sich mit diskreten Wahrscheinlichkeitsmodellen, den klassischen diskreten Verteilungen sowie der zugehörigen Theorie der Zufallsvariablen samt erzeugenden Funktionen und Grenzwertsätzen. Anschließend wird die Theorie der Zufallsvariablen mit stetigen Dichten, mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der multivariaten Normalverteilung, durchgenommen. Den Abschluß des Teils über Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie bildet der zentrale Grenzwertsatz. Den letzten Teil der Vorlesung bildet eine Einführung in die elementaren Methoden der Statistik. Behandelt werden insbesondere Schätzer, Konfidenzintervalle und Testtheorie.
