Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

These are the tutorials for the lecture course "Lie groups" (250071), the contents are parallel to that course. Students solve exercises at home, the solutions are presented and discussed during the course.
For students interested in doing that, there is also the possibility to present longer seminar talks on topics related to the course.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Active participation in the course by solving exercises and presenting the solutions and/or by presenting a longer seminar talk. Taking part in discussions of the presentations of other participants.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Successful presentation of the solution to three exercises or successful presentation of a seminar talk.

Prüfungsstoff

Exercises are based on the contents of the lecture course. The topics for longer talks are supplementary to these contents.

Literatur

Exercises will be posted online at Moodle page of the course. For longer talks, literature will be discussed individually.
