Continuous assessment of course work.Attendance is mandatory. If you cannot attend, please let me know and give a reason (if possible in advance). In that case, please submit exercises for the boxes you ticked to me by email, so I can see your work and give feedback.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Students are expected to tick the boxes for at least half of the exercises, and present at least one of them at the board in front of the class. Given that these minimal requirements are fulfilled, the final grade will be determined as the average of:
- One grade for each presentation at the board,
- one grade for general activity and participation (including the number of presentations at the board),
- and one grade for the number of boxes ticked: 50% for a 4; 62.5% for a 3; 75% for a 2; 87.5% for a 1.

After each presentation, if time permits, we discuss the exercise, the presented solution, and possible alternative solutions. If you have worked on an exercise and ticked the box, but do not feel comfortable presenting in front of the class, you have the opportunity to instead hand in your written work for me to grade and give feedback on.
