Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Course will be graded based on the participation in the practical exercises and the protocols describing each experiment.The students will also need to prepare a short presentation of the exercise topic before each exercise to demonstrate that they understand the necessary physical principles behind the used methods.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Both students of a group have to be present and have to contribute to the execution of the experiments. On the basis of the protocol it must be clearly visible that the basic physical principles of the experiment were understood. The experimental data must be analyzed and interpreted correctly.The protocol must be handed in within two weeks from the end of the practical exercise, unless otherwise agreed with the instructors.
Prüfungsstoff
The protocol must provide a clear motivation for the work, briefly summarize the current state-of-the-art based on provided literature, describe the experiments and analysis of the results, and a discussion reflecting on the results and issues encountered during the practical work.
Literatur
Necessary literature will be provided during the course.
