The lecture will mainly consist of lab visits. These visits will consist of short lectures, seminars, practical exercises, presentations and group discussions (according to the topics to be covered).
The schedule will be arranged with the participating students at the first date of the lecture (Wed Mar 5, 16.00, Seminarraum, Zi. 3354A, Boltzmanngasse 5, 3. Stk.). Presence in the first lecture is therefore mandatory for further participation in the lecture.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Ability to explain the biological problem; ability to abstract the biological problem and to connect it to computational concepts; ability to select appropriate mathematical and computational methods; ability to perform selected computational methods and to interprete their results.
