Summary: These lectures are laid out to deliver a survey on the present ecological status of developing countries in relation to their (natural) resources, agricultural productivity, forestry, energy consumption, demography, social structure, tanking in consideration the current political situation. Possibilities are discussed to increase sustainability and to improve nature protection in developing countries. The lectures are offered to students from all faculties
