Registration: NOT LATER THAN Tuesday, 23.6., at the secretariat (8.00-13.00, 14.00-15.00) Rennweg 14; payment of participation fee Euro 40,- (for travel, overnight stay, evening meal and breakfast at Schneealpenhaus).

Topics: alpine-subalpine-montane flora und vegetation on silicate (Stuhleck) and limestone (Schneealpe)

28.6., 6.30: PUNCTUAL departure from Rennweg 14, bus travel to Stuhleck.
At about 7.30 we will stop at the service area Marché Bistro Natschbach at the S6, Semmeringschnellstraße. Please inform me, when you want to join us there.

Lunch in the field, or, in the case you prefer, in the mountain hut on Stuhleck.

Early afternoon: travel to Schneealpe. About 3 to 4 hours ascent to the hut on Schneealpe (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schneealpenhaus). (BACKPACK!)
Common dinner (please inform me in the case you prefer vegetarian food). Overnight stay in the dormitory of Schneealpenhaus: SLEEPING BAG INLAY (= HÜTTENSCHLAFSACK) required!

29.6.: Breakfast; field work in the neighborhood of the mountain hut, where lunch is available.
Early afternoon: descent via "Farfelsteig" (partly steep and stony alpine path: APPROPRIATE ALPINE BOOTS, NO SNEAKERS!,walking-sticks can be helpful) to Neuberg/Mürz. From there by private bus to Mürzzuschlag, and from there by train toVienna, arrival 22.00.

Equipment: Clothing suitable for rainy and cold weather, even snow and minus degrees are possible!
ALPINE BOOTS - BACKPACK: NO HAND LUGGAGE! - SLEEPING BAG INLAY.
