Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

In this lecture series, students will be introduced into selected state-of-the-art methods and techniques applied in evolutionary developmental biology (EvoDevo). During lectures, publications applying these techniques will be discussed and their contribution to answer given questions will be evaluated. The attendance of this lecture series will enable students to choose an adequate method for a specific research question. This lecture series is offered to students without a strong molecular genetic background and with an interest in the thriving field of EvoDevo.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Written exam on 13.02.2023 at 13:15-14:45h in Seminarraum 1.7. In addition, exams are possible on three other days in SS2022 (tba).

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

More than 50% points (“sufficient”) are necessary to attain the pass grade.
Grading scheme: 1 (excellent): 85-100%; 2 (good): 75-84.99%; 3 (satisfactory): 65-74.99%; 4 (sufficient): 50-64.99%; 5 (not sufficient): <50%
