Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course introduces into basic questions on the Bible, its origins, formation and interpretation. The first part deals with canon, inspiration, hermeneutics and the relationship between Judaism and Christianity. Part two is concerned with the textual history of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament as well as the history of interpretation. Part three introduces into the history of ancient Israel.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam, 45 minutes
Valuation key: 100-87 points = excellent, 86-75 = good, 74-63 = satisfactory, 62-51 = sufficient, 50-0 insufficient.
