Aims, contents and method of the course
Clinical Rounds offer the students the opportunity of acquiring basic knowledge of ethical and legal Problems in the context of difficult situations of medical decision making and health care. Invited specialist are met in their clinical context or invited to the seminar and provide their insight.
Assessment and permitted materials
discussion, written paper of 10-15 pages. If a group writes a joint paper, a longer paper is required (9 pages / person excluding front page, table of content and bibliography).
It is planned that students give papers in addition to experts' presentations and excursions to institutions working in the field. In case the University is closed due to the Corona pandemic or if safety measures in institutions do not allow visits, the program needs to be adapted. Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Active participation (reading, participation in discussions - in case of online teaching participation using chat or audio), oral paper or tasks on moodle (40%) and essay on one of the the topics of the seminar (60%)
