Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
In addition to active and regular participation, each student has to give a presentation of about 20 minutes. In addition, each participant composes a written essay of approximately 7 pages, which must be completed by the end of the semester.
The grade awarded is composed of the grade of the essay (75%) and the grade of the presentation (25%).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Willingness to participate regularly and actively and to read the texts is a prerequisite for participation.
Examination topics
For each session, the lecturer will provide texts that each participant has to read in advance.

At the end of the course, students will be able to methodically reflect on and critically evaluate the acquisition of religious views of scriptless cultures in particular. Furthermore, they are able to analyze sources and texts as well as make comparisons independently.
