- 75% attendance and cooperation during the semester

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
75% attendance; preparation and implementation of a seminar unit; writing of a seminar paper (submission by September 15th, 2020)
The three parts of the assessment (collaboration, presentation, seminar or bachelor thesis) must each be completed positively. The minimum standard for a positive performance is in terms of
- Cooperation: cooperative level of participation (20%);
- Presentation: The basic outlines of the topic chosen must be presented in a comprehensible way, questions for subsequent reading and/or discussion must be provided (30%);
- Seminar paper / Bachelor’s thesis: Submitted in time by Tuesday, 15 September, 2020, at the latest; it has to be written according to the faculty’s internal recommendation (https://ssc-kaththeologie.univie.ac.at/services-ueber-uns/services-a-z/formulare/ - s. „Formalia der schriftlichen wissenschaftlichen Arbeit“) (50%).STANDARD OF EXAM: Textually correct and substantial seminar or bachelor paper (50%), regular presence (20%) and active preparation and implementation of a seminar unit (30%).

Presentations of about 20 minutes (including the preparation of handouts) and preparation of concise reading units; discussion of the respective contents in the group. - The texts will be available as scans on the Moodle platform in due time.
THE LANGUAGE OF THE COURSE IS ENGLISH.BECAUSE OF THE CIVID19 CRISES, WE WILL ALTER THE MODE OF THE COURSE WITH THE NEXT SESSION. SINCE THE EMAIL SEARCH PROVED THAT EVERYBODY WHO IS IN NEED OF THIS COURSE IS ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ONLINE SESSIONS, WE WILL MEET ONLINE ON EACH WEDNESDAY AT 1.15 P.M.-2.45 P.M. FOR PRESENTATION OF THE TOPIC SCHEDULED AND SEMINARY DISCUSSION ON IT. IN THIS WAY WE CAN KEEP THE COURSE ACCORDING TO ITS IMMANENT EXAMINATION CHARACTER. (MARCH 30TH, 2020)
