Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture is an introduction to communication and media ethics. The lecture first provides basic knowledge in the field of (philosophical) ethics. The focus is then on ethical challenges in journalism, strategic communication, media entertainment, educational ethics and other areas of the media field of action. For this purpose, research results from journalism and communication science will also be used again and again.
Assessment and permitted materials
In all likelihood, four examination dates will be offered. The exams will be written (60 minutes).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
A positive evaluation of the exam is achieved if at least half of the maximum number of points of the written exam is reached (grade 4). The other grades are formed linearly. A very good performance (grade 1) is achieved if the requirements are fulfilled to a degree that goes far beyond the essentials.
Examination topics
The subject matter of the examination is the lecture content and any agreed compulsory reading.
