Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction into the Old and New Testament. Grasping of the content, structure and theological peculiarities of single books and the canon as a whole.

Assessment and permitted materials

Seminar with evaluation of the course.
Three tests: 10.11.; 24.11.; 15.12.
Thematical Essay
Oral Participation
EC-Students: Essay and one written exam. Dates: 15.12.; 25.1; 12.3.; 18.5.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Knowledge of the texts, traditions, themes and structures of the Old and New Testament.
