Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to Biblical hebrew. Reading ability of hebrew words and sentences. Introduction in basic grammar. Usage of dictionaries, commentaries and grammars

Assessment and permitted materials

Classwork, Homework, Written exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Ability to read Hebrew texts. Translation of simple texts with the help of a dictionary. Reasonable application of grammars, theological wordbooks and commentaries.
