The proseminar will introduce the topic with selected source texts (martyr reports, sermons, treatises, letters etc) and at the same time train historical research.
In the proseminar on church history, the methodological steps for the analysis of a source will therefore be worked out. The course is intended to enable students to write a proseminar or bachelor thesis on a topic of church history.
A reader will be issued to accompany the seminar and provide an introduction to the method steps and important literature.
