Aims, contents and method of the course

Texts from the gospel according to Luke are translated and interpreted. The exegesis also includes the comparison with the homilies of Origenes about St. Lukes gospel.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Experience in translating biblical as well as patristic texts and their interpretation including knowledge about Origenes way of interpretation.

Examination topics

- Translation, discussion of language and style, interpretation of the texts.
