Aims, contents and method of the course
Aims: Knowledge, themes and sub-disciplines of practical theology. Overview of basic issues of practical-theological work (empirical insights, historical-systematic points of contact, current discourse and future questions).Contents: Subject, Contextuality and Interpretive Patterns of Practical Theology in general. Cybernetics, Pastoral Theology, Liturgics, Homiletics, Poimenics, Diakonics, Christian Journalism and Ascetics in particular.Method: reading of relevant literature (for seminar preparation), group work and discussions, short presentations, smaller exercises.
