Aims, contents and method of the course

On the basis of theological key concepts such as "God", "prayer", "miracle" and "creation", which are reflected on from a subject-oriented, systematic-theological and religious-didactic perspective, students should acquire a religious-pedagogical as well as systematic-theological competence at the same time.
There are 40 key concepts available, from which a selection will be made for the seminar.
Methodologically, discussions, partner and group work, and short presentations will predominate. In addition, a thorough reading of the key concepts dealt with in the seminar is necessary for preparation.

Assessment and permitted materials

Short presentation (approx. 10-15 minutes),
Participation in the discussion phases,
Seminar paper (approx. 12-15 pages)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum Requirements:
- Compulsory attendance, students are allowed two unexcused absences.
- The short presentation is obligatory.
- Seminar paper is mandatory to hand in.

Assessment standard:
- Presentation: 25 points
- Seminar paper: 50 points (given/agreed deadline must be met)
- Participation in the discussion phases (constructive, technically correct contributions and engagement in the discussion of the presentations): 25 points.

For a positive evaluation of the course, 60 points are required.
1 (very good) 100-90 points
2 (good) 89-81 points
3 (satisfactory) 80-71 points
4 (sufficient) 70-60 points
5 (insufficient) 59-0 points

Examination topics

All content covered in the course, especially the subject-specific and subject-didactic content and considerations of the student's own plans and those presented in the seminar.
