Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture gives a summary both of the registered juvenile delinquency and the corresponding dark number in Austria, theories of crime and the legal system of reactions to juvenile delinquency and its practical implementation in Austria. Introductory presentations of the students will provide the background for a discussion of selected topics such as prevention of violent crime or alternatives to traditional penal sanctions.
