Aims, contents and method of the course

Recent developments in public international law with a focus on the following research areas: international investment law and arbitration; public international law and Islam; space law, air law and law of the sea

Assessment and permitted materials

written seminar paper, oral presentation, and active participation in class

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

In-depth analysis of selected topic in public international law; the particpiants should learn how to elaborate and discuss international legal topics in a scholarly way

Examination topics

Presentation and discussion of the seminar papers of the participants (in German or English); feedback to topic and paper presentations
