Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course prepares students for participation in the Jessup International Law Moot Court. During the winter semester, students will draft two advocacy briefs in English. During the summer term, participants will prepare for the pleadings.Participation in the previous winter semester is required for participation in the summer semester.More info at http://ilmc.univie.ac.at/home/
Assessment and permitted materials
Individual evaluation and grading based on the written and oral performance during the preparation for the competition.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The course is open for all students who want to improve their knowledge of international law, presentation techniques and English skills.
Examination topics
Coaching of the participants in writing the memorials and in preparing for the pleadings in Washington by training of presentation techniques and video analysis.
