Aims, contents and method of the course

Current topics in criminology and penal law.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presentation (25% of final grade) and term paper (60% of final grade) of the research topic assigned at the preparatory meeting; compulsory attendance and active participation in discussions (15% of final grade)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Prerequisites for attending: exam in penal law and the course fundamentals in criminology OR dissertation in criminology or penal law; Compulsory attendance and active participation in discussions is absolutely necessary for passing the course.
