Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Main elements of international law (secondary and primary law), sources of international law, including the law of treaties in combination with relevant Austrian constitutional provisions, state succession, fundamental rights and duties of States, State responsibility.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation in class, e-learning tests in preparation of the cases and 1 written exam (case study)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Gaining of knowledge in the field of international law, its relationship to national law as well as its connection with international relations.
Examination topics
Elaboration of problems of international law through the discussion of cases. The conditions for a positive certificate will be agreed upon with the participants.
