Aims, contents and method of the course

Grundlagen und Rahmenbedingungen des Völkerrechts, Völkerrechtsquellen, Völkerrecht und Landesrecht, Völkerrechts-subjekte, Organe des völkerrechtlichen Verkehrs, Internationales Investitionsrecht, Grundregeln der zwischenstaatlichen Beziehungen, Staatenverantwortlichkeit, individuelle völkerrechtliche Verantwortlichkeit.

Assessment and permitted materials

Active participation in class, e-learning tests in preparation of the cases and 1 written exam (case study)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Gaining of knowledge in the field of international law, its relationship to national law as well as its connection with international relations.

Examination topics

Principles and issues of public international law as presented in the general courses (lectures) will be discussed on the basis of concrete cases.
