Aims, contents and method of the course
Introduction to legal methodology and to the work on legal cases in Constitutional Law/Civil Law/Criminal Law. Attendance is compulsory during the whole course; absence in one unit is permissible.
Assessment and permitted materials
One written exam and regular oral participation.
The exam (jointly for all courses - Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law) will take place at the end of the course, December 10th (exact time will be announced). If required, the exam can be repeated a few days later, on December 17th.
Unannotated editions of relevant statutes, handwritten annotations are not permitted.

Attendance of the first unit is compulsory. For oral participation in each unit, a (+) will be awarded.

In each unit, cases will be provided in advance via moodle as a basis for discussions. Students are expected to prepare these cases in advance.
For a successful completion of the course, it is strongly advisable to study the recommended literature in advance in order to prepare the cases for the respective unit.
