The University of Vienna will send a Team of 2 – 4 students to participate in this year’s Mediation Competitions. Amongst all applicants the participants will be chosen on terms of their academic achievements, motivational letter and proficiency of the teaching language. Erasmus students are welcome to apply, preference will be given to participants of the Mediation Elective (Wahlfachkorb). A 5th student may be accepted into the course to act as training mediator for the team. • high proficiency in the English language (competition level)
• completion of the class "Mediation for Lawyers" (at latest during this coming Semester WS 2023/24)
• completion of the class "Introduction to Negotiation" (at latest during this coming WS 2023/24)
• completion of the class "Mediation im transkulturellen Kontext" (at latest during this coming WS 2023/24)
• completion of the class "Wirtschaftsmediation" (at latest during this coming WS 2023/24)Application process

The additional enrolment via u:space is obligatory.The ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition will take place in Paris from February 5 to 10, 2024.A part of the preparatory course is the participation in the Bucerius Mediation Competition from November 17 to 19, 2023 in Hamburg.
