Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
According to a well-known legal aphorism, "Justice must be seen to be done." A look at the challenges of emancipatory legal politics necessitates a variant to which this seminar will be devoted: "Injustice must be seen to be undone." This modification owes its origin to the confrontation with attempts to convince legislators and supreme courts that certain legal relations, considered normal, even natural, do not correspond to a substantial understanding of equal freedom. The seminar will explore these questions along legal developments as well as their reflection in literature and popular culture.
