Aims, contents and method of the course
This course on practical exercises in public international law discusses core issues of international law against the backdrop of decisions of international courts and tribunals as well as fictional case studies. The course is primarily offered to IREWI students who want to prepare for their oral exams in public international law, but it is also open to diploma students and exchange students. Each week will be dedicated to one or more key principles of public international law, which are discussed through case studies. By the end of the course, students should understand key principles of public international law and the case law on these principles.

Class Participation, Midterm Exam, Final Exam.
