and other international legal developments, Indigenous Peoples have a
claim to autonomy and self-government in matters relating to their
internal and local affairs and a right to participation in state
decisions, that could affect their interests.
Starting from the meaning of the basic concepts "autonomy" and
"participation", we will analyse and compare the recognition and
implemetnation of these political rights in many national legal systems
around the world. The class is not mainly on international law!
