The Focus of this seminar will deal with "children on the move", i.e. accompanied and unaccompanied children arriving in Austria with various backgrounds, including migrant, trafficking and asylum-seeking children, with explicit emphasis on the gender dimension and the specific situation of the girl child "on the move" - in light of another 2009 Anniversary, of the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women.
