Aims, contents and method of the course

The second part of the course is devoted to the legal and political aspects of the institutions most relevant to European security (UN, OSCE, NATO, EU), in particular their adaptation to the new political situation in Europe after the end of the East-West conflict by assuming new functions.

Assessment and permitted materials

participation in discussions in class and final written exam

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

provide students with a better understanding of the legal and political dimensions of contemporary security issues, in particular the institutional dimension

Examination topics

presentations by the instructor, discussion in class.
