The course focuses on the basic principles and particularities of the public international legal order, sources of public international law, subjects of public international law, basic legal principles in international relations, state responsibility and liability.
The course includes e-learning via Moodle in a particular form. Ahead of each class, a quiz is to be completed. Not all of the questions in the quiz can be answered from the script and sometimes research in the internet might be necessary. After each class, questions about the content of the respective unit are placed online ("participation quizzes").
In addition, short cases will be available on Moodle ahead of each unit, which are to be read beforehand in order to prepare for questions and class discussions.
