Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Individual evaluation and grading based on the written and oral performance during the preparation for the competition.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The course is open for all students who have a strong interest in ICT-law, media law and fundamental rights and want to improve their presentation techniques and English skills.
Examination topics
Coaching of the participants in writing the memorials and in preparing for the pleadings by training of presentation techniques. The focus will be on ICT-law, media law and fundamental rights.

The annual Price Moot Court Competition challenges students to engage in comparative research of legal standards at the national, regional and international levels and to develop their arguments (in written and oral forms) on cutting-edge questions in media and ICT law. The Competition is currently comprised of seven Regional Rounds.A team of 2-6 students will represent the University of Vienna at this prestigious event. The South-East-European Regional Round will take place between the 2-4th December. Qualifying teams from the respected Regional Rounds could go to the Online International Round in Oxford in March-April 2021.This course prepares students for participation in the annual Price Moot Court. Each participating team must prepare written submissions and 4 Oral Pleadings.
