Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course provides a framework to discuss current events in international law and thus gaining a deeper understanding of the underlying legal issues. This includes the discussion of decisions of national and international courts and tribunals – in particular the International Court of Justice – as well as the assessment of other current events through the lens of international law. Each session starts with presentations from the lecturers and then provides an opportunity for broader discussion. The topics to be discussed in the individual session will be announced in advance on Moodle.

Attendance and active participation in the classes are required.
