Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This interactive course offers an introduction to the basic principles and concepts of Roman Law of Obligations. The course covers roughly the same ground as the German UE Schuldrecht, but is taught entirely in English. Its aim is to make Roman Law accessible to students from a variety of linguistic backgrounds and to provide an introduction into Roman-Law terminology in English.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
For a positive grade, you will need either two pass grades on the written exams or one pass grade and three points for active participation in class.
