Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim is an introduction into Austrian Labour Law in English with an emphasis on the peculiarities of the Austrian system. Both the collective and the individual side of labour law will be treated. An emphasis will be on the latest developments, especially concerning working time legislation and the legal situation of persons working in the platform economy.
Assessment and permitted materials
participation in class, brief written examination (multiple choice test) at the end of the course (open book)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
presence in all the two contact sessions is required as well as the participation in the written examination,
the overall grade is based 30% on class participation and 70 % on the written examination. For a positive grade of the test, at least 50% of the attainable score must be achieved.
