Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar considers the topic of "Intangible Business" referring to fundamental contributions of information economics; the range of issues covered comprises
-) organization/coordination (planning, rationality, control)
-) intellectual property/digital commodities
-) externalities (network economics)
-) attention economics

Assessment and permitted materials

continuous engagement (discussion contribution), seminar contribution (written paper, oral presentation), final examination

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Consideration of primary sources of ideas concerning the new economics using original literature; development of a foundational understanding of ICT-based socio-economic transformation processes of the postmodern age.

reading, written seminar paper (thesis summary), plenary presentation, discussion
